Dr. Buck Parsons

General Dentist

Dr. Buck Parsons grew up watching his father walk into a room and have everyone in it happy to see him. That says something about a person. It also says something about a profession. Both things stuck.

A University of Tennessee at Memphis graduate and top-five honors finisher in his class, Dr. Parsons has spent more than two decades practicing at the same place he once visited as a kid — alongside team members he has known just as long, and caring for patients whose children he now sees in the chair. That kind of continuity doesn't happen by accident. It happens when a place is genuinely woven into a community and you've grown up inside it.

His philosophy is family-first in every sense: treat every patient the way you'd treat someone you love, be conservative about what they actually need, and let the work speak. What he loves most is getting people out of discomfort and watching them leave better than they arrived.

Outside the office, Dr. Parsons is married to his grade school sweetheart, Maryellen — they've been together since seventh grade — and the two of them are raising their boys, Brody and Cale. The family's happy place is Dale Hollow Lake, and has been for as long as any of them can remember.
