Dr. Emma Grace Mullins

In middle school, Dr. Emma Grace Mullins spent a week shadowing different professionals around her hometown in west Tennessee. She tried a few. But when she walked into a dental office and watched a dentist connect with patients, help someone out of pain, and boost someone's confidence in a single appointment, something clicked. That was it.
A University of Tennessee Health Science Center graduate, Dr. Mullins joined the Livingston team in 2026, drawn in part by family ties to the area and in part by a practice whose culture matched exactly what she was looking for. The mentorship from experienced doctors, the assistants she could not function without, the hygienists who know their patients inside and out: it felt like home quickly.
Her approach centers on patient autonomy. Lay out every option clearly, let the patient lead, and be honest all the way through. She describes herself as an extroverted middle child who loves to laugh, which comes through the moment she walks into a room.
When she is not at the office, Dr. Mullins is likely at a Tennessee football game or concert, reading or needlepointing at home, or out with her husband Russell and their two Australian Shepherds, Josie and Rip. She is, by her own account, the biggest Tennessee fan ever.
